Renee’s European sortie
At the end of June Renee, one of our star Account Managers, did the disappearing act, taking the opportunity to discover Europe, and all of its tantalising treats, with three of her braver school friends, Holly, Tori and Katy.
Starting in London the girls soon settled into holiday mode, easily adapting to the shopping lifestyle of the rich and famous. Having dented the credit cards a little they then headed to Paris, where damage could be inflicted from their custom to Parisian Courtiers. A few snails later it was off to Spain, where the running of the bulls left an impression, with Renee still avoiding hamburgers.
Despite a close call with some midnight burglars on Nice’s overnight train Renee retained her passport to discover her homeland of Italy (click the thumbnail), where any previous example of self-control went out the window. Whether it was a Gondola ride, seafood risottos or shopping Renee stepped up to the challenge, outdoing her previous efforts in other cities.
With the final chapter of her trip it was time to head home. Within 48 hours of stepping off the plane in Melbourne she was back on deck at GDJ, wistfully dreaming of Italian cuisine, both on and off the table.
Glad that you had a great trip. Europe looks sooo beautiful.
