Geelong Grammar School

It’s one of the world’s great schools - a truly innovative educational institution that has established the benchmark for teaching in this country since the mid 1850s. Geelong Grammar School’s impressive history and fascinating list of achievements, alumni and stories sets it apart in Australia.

geelongmock2.jpgTo really tell the story of the school, we spent several days on the various campuses, digitally capturing everyday moments in the students’ lives and coming back armed with a broad spectrum of images that would feed into the advertising. Using these captured moments as a basis, we launched a campaign that lifted the veil on this iconic institution and offered unique insights into a very rounded and progressive education: ‘Some call it a School… we call it a way of life.’

geelongmock.jpgAs well as the advertising campaign, we worked closely with Geelong Grammar School to produce a new website and school prospectus, both also featuring the Grant Day James photography. Feedback on these has been overwhelmingly positive with strong student enrolments. After two years in the making, the Geelong Grammar School website and prospectus are success stories we’re very proud of.

“Cerberus, the three-headed dog of Greek mythology, guarded the gates to the underworld. This is quite ironic as Daisy Dog is based in the crime centre of all Australia – North Melbourne!”
