There’s more to Australia Post than just a letterbox, a couple of stamps and a postie on a bike. In fact it takes a team of around 35,000 full-time and part-time staff to keep Australia Post delivering. Acknowledging the importance of employer branding in an ever tightening employment market, Australia Post approached Grant Day James to develop an Employee Value Proposition (EVP), a description of the Australia Post brand as an employer. It has created a tool that attracts, hires and retains candidates that are the right “fit” for the brand, proving that personality and emotion plays a big part when applicants are researching potential employers.
